Spring Non-Vacation

We decided to remodel our kitchen over Spring Break. It has taken over every waking moment! Chuck has done a excellent job running new electrical wiring. I have done an excellent job getting hurt...I stepped on an old nail and then had two 2x4's attack me leaving a 12" purple and red bruise down my leg. Hopefully it will be done soon so we can post more pics.

Easter Weekend

This weekend was really busy for us. On Thursday Abby had her first sleepover for a friends birthday. She had a great time. Then of Friday we went to Amish country and got tons of goodies. We saw lots of Amish buggies out on the road. Today we are just relaxing and watching movies. Everyone will be home through the next week. The weather is finally starting to warm up a bit...YIPPEE!

Blizzard of '08

Eli is growing up

Eli started pre-school in the fall. He loves it! The bus comes and gets him a few times a week. He is there for 3 hours a day, just enough for me to get a few things done. He is really doing well and has fooled his teacher into believing he is an angel.

Our first grader Abby

Abby is loving first grade. Her school is just a few houses down from our house so we walk there every morning...yes, even in the snow. She loves to read. I can't get her to watch where she is walking because her nose is always in a book. I often find her in her bed at 10 or 11 o'clock reading when she should be asleep. I guess there could be worst things.
Her school just had a family skate night at the roller rink. Eli was scared to death, but Abby got the hang of it pretty quick.

Our house

We have been busy renovating our first house. What a process! We are having a fun time with it even though it can be frustrating to live in an inch of sawdust at all times. Chuck has spent a lot of time in the crawl space moving plumbing and plumbing in my laundry room. I have been busy painting. What a LONG process!
